It’s Sunday again, which means it’s time for Trending Tunes on Bollywoodlife. We are back with another round up of best of the best songs this week. This week’s music scene was blown away by a spectacular surprise. Parineeti Chopra came back to screen with a special song in the film Dishoom with Varun Dhawan. So you know the drill, turn the volume up, and let’s get this party started.

Tere Sang Yaara (Rustom)

Featuring Akshay Kumar and Ileana who for all that we know, play husband and wife in the film, look every bit romantic in this track. The music is as mesmerising as their cute romance. The lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir. And cherry on the top, we’ve Atif Aslam hitting back with his heart-winning voice and  Arko’s romantic music-  which only makes this song a perfect combination beautiful music and oh-so-beautiful visuals.

Jaaneman Aah (Dishoom)

This song starring Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan is a rage on the internet. C’mon the song is so hot and dance worthy that it had to be a chart topper. Music is composed by Pritam, and the song has been sung by antara Mitra and Aman Trikha. Lyrics are by Mayur Puri, who does a perfect job to come up with the masala lyrics
Tu Hai (Mohenjo Daro)

Tu Hai is a romantic number, beautifully helmed by AR Rahman and even sung by the maestro himself! The female voice is of Sanah Moidutty who does an outstanding job of matching up to her more experienced co-singer. The lyrics is by Javed Akhtar. The song is about how Hrithik‘s character Sarman gatecrashes some  function, where Pooja Hegde’s character Chaani is present grooving.
Jag Ghoomeya (Sultan)

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s is magical. The sentiments drips through every musical note and lyric of Jag Ghoomeya. Vishal Shekhar have delivered a masterpiece with this song from Sultan. Irshad Kamil’s lyrics give the song a poetic touch. This song is a musthave for your playlist. Soulful and cute.
Baby Ko Bass Pasand Hai (Sultan)


Salman Khan teams up with Vishal Shekhar for the first time and delivers this awesome dance number with a slight Haryanvi touch to it. The song is rage on the internet with over 18 million views already, and increasing. Salman’s quirky moves make the video delightedly watchable. Vishal Dadlani, Shalmali Kholgade, Isheeta, Badshah voice the song perfectly, and will for sure have you tap your foot. Dance like nobody’s watching!
