After playing a superhero in A Flying Jatt, Tiger Shroff will now play a role close to his heart in Sabbir Khan’s Munna Michael — a dancer who idolises Michael Jackson. That should be the easiest thing in the world for an actor-dancer who is a self-confessed Michael Jackson fan. However Tiger won’t take the easy route. He is busy learning Jacko’s most difficult steps and intends to master his most maniacal moves for the camera.
Says a source close to the project, “It shouldn’t look like a fan paying homage to his idol. Tiger wants his MJ steps to be as good as the original.” And hence, he is working hard, day and night to perfect MJ’s trademark dance steps.
Munna Michael is an action-packed muscial, which revolves around the life of a boy from the streets of Teen Batti – Munna (played by Tiger). FYI, this is the same locality where Jackie Shroff grew up. Munna idolises Michael Jackson in the film and hence, we will get to see a lot of dance, music and masti.
However, a few days after the film was announces, an FIR was lodged against Tiger and director Sabbir for stealing the script of the film. Yes, a  Lokhandwala-based filmmaker, Kritik Kumar Pandey alleged that they had stolen his script. But when Tiger was asked about this at the A Flying Jatt trailer launch event, he replied, “I am not a thief, I don’t lie, I am not a cheater, I always win fair and square.” Looks like the star kid will go all out to prove his point. The case is still being heard.
