NEW DELHI: Sony recently confirmed its plans to launch an upgraded PlayStation 4 gaming console. Speculated to be called PS4 Neo, the console is scheduled to launch by the end of next year. However, it looks like the company may be showing us a glimpse of the console as soon as next month.
According to a report from Vice Gaming website, Sony will be showing its 4K-capable PS4 Neo gaming console on September 7 during a "technical showcase" event. It might be possible that the company also shows the console's capabilities and how well it can handle the graphics, but not the complete console itself.
In June, the president and group CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment Andrew House, when asked about the PS4 'Neo,' said that "It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4". He further added that the company will be selling both PS4 versions throughout its lifecycle.
