Abhijeet Bhattacharya had reacted to Shobhaa De's now infamous tweet on the Indian contingent at Rio Olympics 2016 busy taking selfies instead of trying to win a gold for the country.
Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor has once again taken on a celebrity on Twitter whose tweet she does not agree with. Sonam has lashed out at singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya for calling columnist-author Shobhaa De a ‘Unstoppable Shameless Besharm Budhia’! Abhijeet Bhattacharya had reacted to Shobhaa De’s now infamous tweet on the Indian contingent at Rio Olympics 2016 busy taking selfies instead of trying to win a gold for the country. Shobhaa De had said on Twitter, “Goal of Team India at the Olympics: Rio jao. Selfies lo. Khaali haat wapas aao. What a waste of money and opportunity.” Even shooter Abhinav Bindra, who is out of the Rio Olympics 2016, had replied to Shobhaa De’s tweet, saying, “@DeShobhaa that’s a tad unfair. Abhijeet Bhattacharya, known for his rather brash tweets going in the territory of what Kamaal R Khan (KRK) tweets, said to Shobhaa De on Twitter, “Unstoppable shameless #बेशर्म बूढ़ीयाs .. abusing and cursing their own motherland, own children, own talents.” To which Sonam Kapoor immediately said, “You’re such a hypocrite.” Sonam later removed the tweet!
