How can we forget The Jungle Book? It had beat all Bollywood films this year to become the highest grosser! In fact, the film continued to reign till the first entire half of this year. Of course, later with Sultan coming in, the film had to take a step back. But for such a long time, Neel Sethi’s film broke several records and beat the likes of Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan and a lot of others. The ensemble cast in English (voiceover artists) and in Hindi were just as magnanimous as the film itself. Consisting of Priyanka Chopra, Irrfan Khan, Nana Patekar, Shefali Shah, Om Puri and Bugs Bhargava in pivotal roles, the film received tremendous reviews.
Of course, PeeCee and Neel did bond a little too as she is pretty famous in the US, thanks to Quantico. But who would’ve expected the young lad to tweet to her after such a long time! Neel took to Twitter some time ago to share a report stating Priyanka has promised him that she’ll deliver a big hit with The Jungle Book. He tweeted, “And boy did she deliver!! @priyankachopra #toi #kaa #JungleBook” Our desi gal was quick to respond to the tweet as she replied, “Awe @TheNeelSethi you r too adorable!! Your mowgli was so cute!” For all those who are unaware, Neel is pretty active on social media. The 12 year old’s accounts are handled by his managers but they are quite good at their work as it looks like the tweets and posts come straight from the young star!
It is a known fact that Priyanka Chopra is also super active on social media. In fact, while a lot of celebs make their managers or publicists to handle their accounts, PeeCee is not like them. When she had visited the Twitter Headquarters at New York, she openly stated how she keeps Instagram and Twitter personal to her and always posts stuff by her own. If you check her tweets, you’ll see so much of thank yous and much loves from her. The actress, being such a congenial diva that she is, is humble to the core! She always makes sure that she promptly replies to tweets or posts directed to her.
Currently Miss Chopra is busy promoting and shooting the second season of her famous ABC show, Quantico. She has been actively promoting the same by attending talk shows, visiting shows as celebrity guest and most of all, featuring almost every month on some or the other magazine. We’ve been tracking her fashion outings and majority of her photoshoots come from several magazine shoots that she has engaged herself in.
